Set in the mystery-shrouded Peak District, the series follows two mismatched young detectives: affable local Ben Cooper and guarded newcomer Diane Fry. Thrown together to investigate a string of mysterious deaths they must learn to work together to get results. As their personal lives begin to intertwine, a unique friendship begins to form… But it won’t always be easy.

The duo are called to a farm when two corpses are found, one of which is missing its head.

Season 1, Episode 02
Cooper and Fry investigate the disappearance of a teen girl. Suspicion falls on her wealthy family and disgruntled employees, as well as the local tale of the Black Dog of Edendale.

Season 1, Episode 03
When a brutally beaten corpse is found in a disused quarry, Cooper and Fry’s investigation leads them to an old missing person case and a mysterious local group with dubious interests.
